Frequently Asked Questions
How do I qualify?
To qualify for the clinic’s services, a patient must be low income, a Greenville County resident, and have no form of health insurance including Medicare and Medicaid. Find more information above.
What is the Clinic’s cancellation policy for appointments?
If multiple appointments are missed (and have not been cancelled 24 hours in advance), the patient’s file will be reviewed and a decision will be made as to whether or not they can continue to be seen at the clinic. This applies to all primary care and specialty appointments as well as counseling. If you do not bring all your medications with you to your appointment or have not completed ordered lab work prior to your appointment, you will be rescheduled and that does count as a missed (not cancelled) appointment.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
ALL medication MUST be brought to every appointment, including over the counter medications.
Does the clinic accept walk-in appointments?
In order to respect the dignity of our patients and honor the time our volunteers graciously give, we are appointment only.
Is there a charge for any of your services?
If an individual qualifies for our services, the patient will receive care free of charge.
Does the clinic fill prescriptions?
If an individual qualifies for our services, our on-site pharmacy will fill prescriptions prescribed by our providers free of charge to the patient.
If I have to have lab work or additional tests done, can the clinic arrange these tests for me?
We have the ability to provide all necessary lab work and diagnostic testing ordered by our providers free of charge to our patients.
Does the clinic provide Dental Services?
Unfortunately, we do not provide dental care at this time, but we can give you information on other community resources.
